Ranger M40 Ranger M40

The Seichter GmbH produces fully automatic systems for testing of tyres and wheels. In addition to the measurement of tyre uniformity, balancing and weight, their systems employ the RFP-5 SMU sensor to utilise the sheet-of-light technique for measurement of tyre geometry.

A bulge or swelling on the side of the tyre can result from a production error in the webbing material. It is critically important that such errors be identified during final inspection and removed from production. Equally, when an axial or radial run out value exceeds tolerance the quality of the tyre and wheel is reduced.

The Ranger M40 camera is employed in Seichter’s tyre inspection systems for the sheet-of-light measurements.

Ranger E50

The Procontour GmbH develops and manufactures tyre profile measurement systems for a variety of official and industrial customer groups. The Procontour H3-D system exploits the sheet-of-light principle for optical profile measurement.

The H3-D jure system performs fully automatic tyre profile measurement in moving traffic. It was originally developed for use by official agencies and organisations concerned with vehicle and traffic safety issues. The measurement module consists of a Ranger E50 Camera operating with a suitable illumination laser.

The MAJAtronic GmbH is a subsidiary of the MAJA GmbH which is specialises in the manufacture of machinery for the meat and flake ice industry. MAJAtronic develops and manufactures automation solutions for the food processing industry. Their OEM robot and image processing series „autonox24“ represent the primary choice with regard to hygienic requirements and chemical resistance. The products are particularly robust against contamination, humidity and extreme temperatures.

The meat processing machines BXM LOIN and G010 are fitted with hygienic designed image processing units (2D and 3D). The BXM LOIN can also be equipped with an IVC-2D programmed to measure the thickness of fatty layers. A Ranger E50 camera is employed in the G010 for the measurement of volume.

3D Observer

The plasmo GmbH offers innovative solutions with sensor-and camera-based systems and machine vision systems for the measurement of laser power, welding parameters and process monitoring and surveying for the weld geometry.

In order to measure robot workspaces in the shortest time, the plasmo 3D Observer allows the identification of parts, type checking and determination of the dimensional accuracy and the calculation of the gripping point. This allows the parts are welded with high precision, stacked or positioned. The 3D Observer consists of a line laser and the camera system Ranger E50, which are housed on a distortion-free carbon tube in rugged casing.
